I recently stayed at a lovely hostel in Chachapoyas. The location was great, close to everything but not on a busy street, in a calm neighborhood. The staff was very helpful and arranged tours for me. The room was comfortable with plenty of storage and a warm bed. The bathroom had hot water and nice toiletries. Additionally, the hostel had a beautiful rooftop terrace with amazing views over the city.
I was disappointed that the hostel didn't have a hand soap in the dorm bathroom, which was inconvenient.

We had an amazing stay at Backpackers Hostal Boutique! The hostel was super clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved the rooftop terrace, perfect for relaxing. The staff went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. The location was also ideal, just a short walk from the plaza but still quiet. The hostel even had a tour agency where we could easily book our excursions. we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this hostel!

This place has it all! 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, free WiFi, and even bike hire! I felt like a VIP. Absolutely loved the continental breakfast. The nearby activities were great too, especially the intense cycling sessions.
Oh, just a small inconvenience - the airport shuttle was not free. But hey, who needs free stuff when you're living like a queen?

We had a fantastic stay at Backpackers Hostal Boutique. The staff were incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. They were always available to assist us with any questions or requests we had. We were able to easily book tours through the hostel, making our sightseeing adventures hassle-free. The rooms had a stunning view of the city, and we loved waking up to that beautiful sight. The hot showers were a welcome treat after a long day of exploring. The open staircase leading up to the rooftop terrace was a unique feature, adorned with lush plants, creating a lovely atmosphere.
Can't fault the property in any way. 🙌

Best hot shower ever! The beds were cozy with clean sheets and the hostel was really quiet, away from the main plaza. The rooftop was lovely with amazing views over the city.
No hand soap in the dorm bathroom and they charged extra for towels. The kitchen could use more utensils.

The double room with a balcony was amazing, I could enjoy the fresh air and lovely views. The room with a tile/marble floor had a charming and elegant feel to it. I loved the double room with a patio, it was a great spot to relax and unwind. The private entrance in the double room gave me a sense of privacy and independence. The single room with a flat-screen TV was a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. Having a private bathroom in all the rooms was convenient and saved me time.
Personally, I found the garden views in some units a bit lacking compared to other aspects of the hostel.
